I’ve found that the clients who experience the best results come ready to take initiative, follow through, and work hard to get to the root of what’s going on. Unfortunately, just showing up to therapy won’t make problems disappear. But I can help!
My counseling style is one built around building a positive relationship with my client that focuses on listening to what they have to say, without judgement. I rely primary on the concepts within Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but also have a Rogerian, Person-center approach, utilizing the core beliefs of Reality Therapy. Having been trained in both CBT and Reality Therapy, I specialize in adults with anxiety, panic, OCD, and depression. It is my goal to treat each person with an unconditional acceptance, regardless of background.
